...(Thank you very much for popping by)
A little about my paintings ....
I strive to paint familiar subjects in an unfamiliar way. The majority of my paintings are intuitive in an expressionistic style where I express how I see and feel about the subject with colour and shapes.
Where there is light there is colour and how much colour depends on the time of day and the season but it is finding the shapes formed by the light that I find intriguing.

I was born in Brisbane (1946) and moved to Toowoomba from Cairns with my husband and four children at the end of 1984.
I really can't remember a time when I didn't draw or paint.
My father was a professional photographer in Brisbane and I joined him in the studio on leaving school.
There is no doubt that original paintings add another dimension to 'living' in your space so just find the image you would love to live with ..... it really will add joy to your life.
My last exhibition (Family Ties) held in July along with my daughter Anna was a great success with many interested friends and visitors popping in. There was a lot of talking about the paintings and art in general so a big thank you to everyone!!
If you enjoy art and would like to be notified of my future exhibitions please join my mailing list below to be included in emails.
I have enjoyed painting for my solo exhibitions for a number of years now and the last one held with daughter Anna (we named it 'Family Ties') really was a lot of fun.
Exhibition News:
At the moment I have a number of paintings exhibited in two exhibitions here in Toowoomba. The RME Downlands Art Exhibition on until Wednesday 20th and the Toowoomba Art Society Members" Spring exhibition (1Godsall Street, adjacent to the Botanic Gardens) on until 1st October.
